7 Days Serengeti Migration Safari

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our professional driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take the evening to relax and prepare for your exciting safari adventure ahead.

After breakfast, depart for either Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, while Lake Manyara is renowned for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today you travel to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Drive through the Ngorongoro highlands with a stop at a scenic viewpoint before descending into the endless Serengeti plains. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp in the heart of the park.

Spend the full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, follow the migration herds as they graze or prepare for dramatic river crossings. Expect to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas following the herds closely.

Head to the northern Serengeti (seasonal – July to October) for the chance to witness the wildebeest river crossings at the Mara River. This is one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles as thousands of wildebeests and zebras face crocodile-infested waters on their journey.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," for a half-day game drive. This area is home to a dense population of wildlife, including rhinos and large prides of lions.

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a cultural tour, shopping for souvenirs, or a short city tour. Later, transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
